It's been a month since I wrote fiction

I try to write and nothing happens.  It's like whatever part of me had creativity is missing.

Everything is stressful, there's a void inside of me where my storytelling once was, and nothing ever gets better.

My creative well has run dry and I don't know how to refill it or find a new one.

It' like this huge piece of who I am just disappeared, and I didn't even notice the loss until it was over and done with.

  1. Have you tried the Langford Brute Force Approach?

You sit down and you write. You do not do anything else until you have written 1,000 words. They may be complete nonsense, but you have to write (or type) them - no copy/paste, no banging on the keyboard. Do that every day.

  2. My sympathies. Been there. With poetry, not with prose, though. (Right now it's mostly the other way aroung, but I'm slowly getting out of the silent zone, and hopefully you will too.)
